our findings:
1\ undisturbed ecosystem (common\ing) can happen
can happen if we can let go (of control/managing/measuring) enough to let what is already there organize us.. this begs a means to undo our hierarchical listening (to self/others/nature).. in order to get back/to an undisturbed ecosystem
ie: ‘in undisturbed ecosystems ..the average individual, species, or population, left to its own devices, behaves in ways that serve and stabilize the whole..’ –Dana Meadows
2\ if we create a way to ground the chaos of 8b free people
crucial element is the legit free part (ie: can’t be partial freedom/humanity).. which means we have to: 1\ legit set all of us free and then 2\ legit trust us/that (assumed chaos)
[if not legit free.. voices will be from not-us.. and we’ll just keep spinning wheels of tragedy of the non common]
basically as infra: 8 bn people spending 3 min a day self-talking into some mech/tech and 30 min a day in a space w a local tribe/family.. and 23 plus hours to do something else (whatever they want)

“My first reaction is that I need to know what Jordan means by kinship? My own take is that kinship is the basis of social life, but at the same time, to form a society, we must go beyond kinshop to generic human cooperation.
This is basically what happened 5,000 years ago, in a painful process that was helped by the Great Gods and then the moral religions of the axial age. open source, urban commons, there are tens of thousands of examples, the only thing needed is a joint need or joint social object; in the P2P Value study, we studied 300 of these communities; I am now interested in knowing more about ‘how real’ the blockchain-based open collaborative ecosystems are; and also in the thriving digital nomad communities
10s of 1000s .. but none yet with a ‘joint need’ deep enough to get to that ‘thriving’ ness that would self regenerate ongoingly.. blockchain/digital/whatever matters little if don’t find that ‘joint’ ness first.. and org/facil/infra around that
