but *changing your language merely to avoid appropriation is a losing game: every concept will be mis-appropriated. The only thing you can do is **explaining, again and again, what you mean by it, and to grow the number of people who understand your perspective.
*yeah,. sea world is a ‘losing’ game.. perpetuating same song.. the whac-a-mole-ing ness of sea world.. of not-us ness.. of part\ial ness.. perpetuating survival triage.. for (blank)’s sake..
**to me (warning ness) this is a huge red flag we’re doing it/life wrong.. to me if legit free.. wouldn’t be trying to ‘grow people who understand perspectives’ et al.. ie: graeber can’t know law; paul know\love law; et al..

Also this is the history of where most new non technical or literary words come from, are taken into currency by the dominant language, forcing reinvention. Otoh the dom. culture invents new shibboleths to maintain a fake distinction, and the disadvantaged learn those.

..tech as it could be.. ai as augmenting interconnectedness..
