troy daniels

via fb post – see he is now running for loveland mayor (nov 2025 vs pat mcfall).. so googling him.. found this on his site [https://www.danielsforloveland.com/the-issues]:
The City of Loveland cannot afford to ignore the issue of homelessness. It will not fix itself—and pretending it will only makes the problem worse. The recent City Council decision to shut down facilities for the unhoused and silence expert voices has not only hindered progress, it has closed the door on the open dialogue our community desperately needs.
to me.. what we need is to try a legit alt.. ie: a sabbatical ish transition
we’ve been talking/dialoguing since forever
Homelessness isn’t an issue that can be solved with an all-or-nothing approach. It’s complex—and *it requires real leadership, compassion, and a willingness to listen. As mayor, **I will make sure every voice is heard—residents, business owners, service providers, and most importantly, those directly affected. We must find common ground and build solutions together, ***because lives are at stake.
*well kind of.. need 1st/most: means (nonjudgmental expo labeling) to undo hierarchical listening as global detox so we can org around legit needs
**you (a person) can’t do that.. and even if you could.. those voices need detoxed first.. otherwise.. just rehashing the same song ness of whalespeak.. need tech as it could be..
Homelessness impacts everyone. It affects property values, public safety, tourism, business vitality, and access to public spaces. Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away—it simply pushes the burden onto neighborhoods, hospitals, and first responders.
nothing to date (anywhere) has gotten to the root of problem because legit freedom will only happen if it’s all of us.. and in order to be all of us.. has to be sans any form of measuring, accounting, people telling other people what to do
and why a sabbatical ish transition is so huge.. ie: even in a couple months it could go viral so there’s that possibility.. the other end is that it doesn’t go viral/global.. it’s not a global detox reset but at the end of the year you would have to date the best option for refugee camps for homeless/detention/refugee/whatever encampments.. and because those numbers keep going up and up and again today nothing yet has been no strings attached ness enough for them to work so people don’t feel alive (rather on hold ness) in those places And those facilitiating or actually managing it get burnt out
I believe in listening to experts and in working across city and county lines to *develop a coordinated, comprehensive strategy. That includes exploring **proven alternative housing models, like transitional and supportive housing, that have community backing and a track record of success elsewhere.
*need the unjustifiable strategy ness of a sabbatical ish transition
**nothing to date has been a legit alt.. because nothing to date has tried/seen the thing we’ve not yet tried/seen: the unconditional part of left to own devices ness
[‘in an undisturbed ecosystem ..the individual left to its own devices.. serves the whole’ –dana meadows]
there’s a legit use of tech (nonjudgmental exponential labeling) to facil the seeming chaos of a global detox leap/dance.. for (blank)’s sake.. and we’re missing it
ie: whatever for a year.. a legit sabbatical ish transition
otherwise we’ll keep perpetuating the same song.. the whac-a-mole-ing ness of sea world.. of not-us ness
This is not just a policy challenge—it’s a test of our values. Loveland must face it with honesty, collaboration, and the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home.
and so sent him *note
