7 min – d: on michel and cosmo local

cosmo local

d: we need to somehow coord across scales from local to regional to global.. climate and econ .. time to redesign rather than reboot

11 min – s: skills/approaches for regen?

d: on creative tension on how much energy do i put into coming home to place.. and this need to coord all our efforts as we have a global gen rising.. for me.. how much energy do we put into local and to the global.. glocal.. local and global at same time

org: 2 convers as infra

same time: humanity needs a leap.. to get back/to simultaneous spontaneity .. simultaneous fittingness.. everyone in sync..

13 min – d: nested complexity from local to global .. even to individual cell health to global health.. et al

14 min – d: link between environ and human health.. diseases more likely in heavily degraded ecosystem

15 min – d: how do we use tech to enable this .. but at same time .. should we assume we use tech.. maybe to build healthy way to work with tech.. create a way to not leave behind those that ie: work w soil.. in order to have a bio materials focused/circulated environ.. we need to build a bridge between both of them

2 convers as infra

16 min – simone: on topic of specialization

mumford non specialized law

17 min – simone: no way we can delegate change.. so not just about how we use tech.. but how we expose ourselves to certain aspects of experience..

2 convers as infra – getting deep enough that delegation becomes irrelevant

19 min – d: on life as a planetary process.. we need to somehow find ways for people to participate in their bio region.. but too.. how we collab across (global).. sharing for better innovation

20 min – d: we can unleash so much potential if we collab better.. both at local and regional.. so important to find ways to collab in ways that use tech and that work on the ground..t

let’s use tech to augment our interconnectedness.. by facil-ing non hierarchical listening

what we need most: the energy of 8b alive people

21 min – d: this love/hate relationship i see with tech

22 min – s to d: on your urge to slow down and understand what’s going on.. on paying less attention to design/infra.. and first to emergence of cultural expression.. so how patient should we be..

23 min – d: polarity that creates a potential.. slowing down in order to speed up.. or to not make a mistake..

taleb center of problem ness

deep enough

25 min – d: we need to plan our cities within the region.. with this deep listening process that needs to happen in place .. that listens to the place..  and the culture.. i think that it’s that deep listening that actually is the beginning of a response..t

non hierarchical listening via ie: cure ios city

deeper than a response.. a nother way to live

26 min – d: we don’t need to immediately put new solutions/systems in place.. we need to ask deeper questions about what needs to change.. rather than infra that are cast in stone and then are for too long in a world that keeps changing..

that is the change.. setting up infra so that people (8b people everyday) can ask deeper questions.. ongoingly.. not just ie: before we take a leap during a crisis et al

d: the way to build dynamic responsive capability to constant change is to work with people in place and increase their capacity to share their unique gifts in that collab.. local/regional/global at same time

indeed.. but you keep using the word response.. regen is more about living than responding..

ie: ‘in undisturbed ecosystems ..the average individual, species, or population, left to its own devices, behaves in ways that serve and stabilize the whole..’ –Dana Meadows

27 min – d: we literally, i think, are wasting more time if we rush into mega solutions too quickly, and by working on solutions at the local and regional scale and experimenting with them, we can learn so much more. But we need to globally change that learning.

so.. let’s let that be the ongoing infra ie: 2 convers as infra

30 min – s: who are going to be at the top of these questions.. what are the spaces we need to seek

wow.. hierarchical listening

let go

d: has to be diverse regenerative cultures in place: that there isn’t a global kind of way of saying “this is how you have to do it”, but it is actually people in their constituencies, whether it’s local communities, neighbourhoods or collaborating at the bioregional scale, really asking these questions

2 convers as infra everyday

33 min – d: we need to engage every aspect of society.. pandemic is giving us opp to do that (seemingly impossible).. engaging everyone

if equity is everyone getting a go every day.. redefining public education/health/econ/whatever becomes revolution of everyday life.. aka: global equity

35 min – s: your saying this is a response the whole society needs to be making.. so a political/post-political conversation

response ness is killing us

let’s try curiosity over decision making

36 min – s: on involving every institution.. my feeling is that the existing institutions that we have, they are not necessarily able, structured to engage with poetic processes. .. maybe our organisational challenge is not just about getting ready to do things differently, but it’s also about really creating the spaces where we can..

37 min – d: how biased our entire culture has become over last 250 yrs.. via ie: analytical/sci-method.. that a world out there we’re observing but separate from.. art to get us asking.. what is our relationship to life

art (by day/light) and sleep (by night/dark) as re\set.. to fittingness/undisturbed ecosystem

39 min – d: what is our role in this transformation to a revolutionary whole

40 min – d: not that i want to create a deeper gap .. but right now.. on engaging those people with these deeper questions

has to be all of us

42 min – d: some of this power.. financial.. could just evap.. and then we have another opp..

45 min – d: we need to find new ways of relating.. to how to live in place.. but marry it to tech culture..

eagle and condor ness

46 min – d: if we need to redesign how we make decisions, govern ourselves, ed ourselves .. in all of those areas tech will play a huge role.. but our blind spot.. is if we design around tech and not around what is real.. that doesn’t just speak to thinking but also to what we feel

curiosity over decision making and as our self governing ed/econ/et-al

d: how do we org.. how do we use tech.. and how do we use it wisely.. t

mufleh humanity law: we have seen advances in every aspect of our lives except our humanity– Luma Mufleh

let’s try 2 convers as infra via tech as it could be..

48 min – simone: the space where tech and wisdom connect.. this is a space that we really don’t know how it works yet.. ways to integrate tech in world..we love his work that is called Yuk Hui.. how do we org in this new space

2 convers as infra

50 min – d: i’ve been framing tech as separate.. but ontologically i believe will only happen if all interconnected.. tech and non tech.. actually non tech are natures ingenious tech.. the more than human tech of life.. to work with the way ecosystems heal themselves.. simpler but deeper.. that return into a healing relation w wider self.. thereby serve everybody

‘in undisturbed ecosystems ..the average individual, species, or population, left to its own devices, behaves in ways that serve and stabilize the whole..’ –Dana Meadows

we need the org structure you’re working on .. that’s why it’s so important.. to building resilience to future destructions.. we can’t heal planet but we can heal places

2 convers as infra

making us antifragile

55 min – simone: on not having all the answers.. organizing thru the doubts

how about a more positive spin.. ie: org ing thru 8b daily curiosities

56 min – d: what we need is a shift towards what questions to ask.. in ways that serve place/planet.. how would we create platform of local/global learning that connect people with questions back to local.. to their place.. in way that their place is connected to global..

2 convers as infra

58 min – d: of how their place is deeply interwoven with the wider bioregion, national and planetary connectedness of this process that we participate in and depend upon..that’s what i’d be really interested in, whether some of your work could actually help build such a platform of planetary learning that starts working on place as a fractal. . asking questions about your locality, your region and how they contextualise globally..

ie: 2 convers as infra

59 min – simone: thinking about one platform, it’s something that we need to overcome..it’s much more about thinking how we can all participate in some kind of platformized conversation and design process that’s gonna be implemented in many, many diff ways .. so how do we create, evolve this technique of platform thinking in a way that can be a tool and can be a generator of conversation about how we implement in this non-universalized way, that transcends and goes beyond the idea of platforms and ecosystems that maybe we had so far?

ie: cure ios city

with 2 convers as infra
