via tweet [https://x.com/mbauwens/status/1976943793959211214]:
‘telling people what to do’ is a real simplistic understanding of leadership. <You> are a leader, or want to be, judging from your twitter feed, since you are trying to influence others, about the right way of thinking and being (i.e. ‘not telling people what to do’).
dear michel.. i totally get your point.. (ie: <You> are a leader, or want to be, judging from your twitter feed, since you are trying to influence others).. am sure it seems that way especially to you.. as you seem to be one of the closest to the things i’ve seen (the things i can’t not see).. so i talk to myself through you most these days
to me.. thinking we have to influence others about a right way is a red flag for a cancerous distraction.. if i was trying/wanting to influence others.. i would most likely argue/tweet/engage/edit more.. and document less.. for me.. this is a conversation i’m having with myself (self-talk as data).. trying to listen to others to check for loop/holes in the things i’ve seen (the things i can’t not see).. but assuming no one else is really listening (one of the deeper problems.. we can’t hear each other or ourselves.. need global detox leap via tech as it could be).. and also glad no one else is really listening.. ie: warning ness et al; batra hide in public law et al; ..
I believe John Heron still says it best, in Sacred Science:
– HIERARCHY provides appropriate direction by those with greater vision, skill, and experience; it is authentic when it seeks the developmental emergence of autonomy and cooperation in those that are being directed. It’s shadow is AUTHORITARIANISM
– COOPERATION roots the individual within a community of peers, offering basic support and the creative and corrective feedback of other views and possibilities. Its shadow is PEER PRESSURE and conformity.
– AUTONOMY expresses the creative, self-creating, and self-transfiguring potential of the person. It’s shadow is NARCISSISM, willfullness and isolation.
to me.. the thing we’ve not yet tried/seen: the unconditional part of left to own devices ness
[‘in an undisturbed ecosystem ..the individual left to its own devices.. serves the whole’ –dana meadows]
