The following is a complex reorganization and timeline of human history, written from the point of view of the coming civilizational transition. It is absolutely important, but requires a rewriting for a broader public in my opinion: Here is the summary,
[disclaimer: this is why i’m adding page – sad that someone like michel is spending his time/days on this.. to me ness -.. history ness is a cancerous distraction:
1\ even if it was legit (and not just history of whales et al ever since that day)..
2\ any legit transition has to be no prep.. no train.. otherwise it won’t be for all from the get go.. and if not all from the get go.. not all/free
findings (aka: the things i can’t unsee) from on the ground ness deep dive and why we need tech w/o judgment
ie: the dance won’t dance unless/until it’s 1\ all of us 2\ legit free
nothing to date (ever since that day) has gotten to that root of problem
legit freedom will only happen if it’s all of us.. and in order to be all of us.. has to be sans any form of measuring, accounting, people telling other people what to do

The full draft version is here: Mark Whitaker on the Four Ecological-Historical Phases for a Green World History. https://wiki.p2pfoundation.net/Mark_Whitaker_on_the_Four_Ecological-Historical_Phases_for_a_Green_World_History
The broad periodization is the following: Phase 1 (– c. 10,000 BCE): Natural and Hybrid-Non-Systemic Extinctions Phase 2 (c. 10,000 – c. 3500 BCE): The Emergence of the “Dual Heritage” (Pre-State Regionality) Phase 3 (c. 3500 BCE – c. 500/600 CE): The Regional Systemic Phase (Subdivided 3.1 and 3.2) 3.1 Phase 3.1 (c. 3500 BCE – c. 2000 BCE): The “Softer” State and the Dual Heritage Balanced 3.2 Phase 3.2 (c. 2000 BCE – c. 500/600 CE): Climatic Drying, Horse-Based Conquest, and Disruption of the Balance Phase 4 (c. 500/600 CE – Present): The Global Unbalancing and the Digital Restoration Summary explanation by Mark Whitaker, November 5, 2026: “The FIRST systemic cause of the problem is simply our current bad choices of materials and bad organization from the start of past unrepresentative states (from ~3500 BCE for the earliest known now, though different in different zones) that has caused systemic environmental degradation for thousands of years, and which only was stopped by the state itself collapsing upon itself, or with people fleeing, or elites breaking it up themselves. The SECOND systemic cause of a solution to this first systemic problem occurred only much later after the rise of simple scripts helped create various autonomous informational handwritten traditions. They were autonomous to previous systemic scribal states. Thus this only started to happen well after 1000 BCE. So from that point there was an equally developed ‘dual heritage’ of systemic better representation and better ecological reorganization of our lives against those systemically degradative and unrepresentative states. THIRD, growing from about 1,500 years ago to the present, now there is another added systemic problem, of equally bad choices of materials and organization now made in our current global trading system that cause more than systemic environmental degradation though causes systemic mass extinction. This is the breaking of the dual heritage of the past. FOURTH, that is where the Glomos comes in as a nested global ecoregional solution to fixing a dual heritage once more to face the early systemic changes to a global trading system, that now requires a matching systemic global nested cultral, material, and oragnizational response. That’s the Glomos and why it has to be global as much as local and national. It is a return to the dual heritage, in a sense, to match the global trading system changes that undermined the more ‘regionalized’ dual heritage of before. This is the global nested ecoregions of the Glomos.”
