notes/quotes from 3 min video clip:

i have always been interested in the intersections of tech and communication.. t

need 1st/most: means (nonjudgmental expo labeling) to undo hierarchical listening as global detox so we can org around legit needs

mufleh humanity lawwe have seen advances in every aspect of our lives except our humanity– Luma Mufleh

1 min – we could actually create tools and hook into this growing phenom of social media and *listen to people at scale..t if we could systematically tune into people’s voices.. that could be not just useful for commercial purposes.. **but what about for like democratic processes..t

*scale makes no diff if people still talking whalespeak

**aka: any form of democratic admin (any form of m\a\p) as whalespeak.. so as cancerous distraction

2 min – and so that really led to the work that we’re now doing.. fast forward we formed center for constructive communications.. to take a step back from social media and say.. *how might we actually build a different kind of communication platform that’s actually optimized for listening.. optimized for authentic conversation..t to move away from asking people their opinions and **instead asking them to share their experiences.. their stories.. and now we have a ***growing archive of these rich small group convos that we could find patterns, topics, themes, narratives.. and find these points of connection,..t lift them up, interpret them, and then turn them media outputs that can be shared back with the community..

*there’s a legit use of tech (nonjudgmental exponential labeling) to facil the seeming chaos of a global detox leap/dance.. for (blank)’s sake..

how we gather in a space is huge.. need to try spaces of permission where people have nothing to prove to facil curiosity over decision making.. because the finite set of choices of decision making is unmooring us.. keeping us from us..

**again.. makes no diff if still all about sea world.. hari rat park law et al

***archive we need: imagine if we listen to the itch-in-8b-souls 1st thing everyday & use that data to connect us (tech as it could be.. ai as augmenting interconnectedness)

that’s where we really see the next frontier is if we can have *better ways to listen, can we translate that listening into positive change..t

*again need 1st/most: means (nonjudgmental expo labeling) to undo hierarchical listening as global detox so we can org around legit needs

ie: tech as it could be
