6 min – save.. a new name for income driven repayment plan.. just yet another tweak.. attempt from ed to fix a broken system w/o really fixing it.. the fix is obvious.. we need robust public investment in ed.. to make ed a democratic right.. we’ve seen these fixes before and they’re not real fixes.. just bandaids on a system that needs to be completely overhauled.. we need public investment so people can afford to actually learn.. so we can have a educated citizenry.. real fix is obvious

7 min – scammers wouldn’t be able to scam people if system wasn’t so confusing.. ie: save, incredibly overwhelming.. lawyers had problem trying to get forgiveness et al.. broken system is what’s creating opps for scammers.. so if want to get rid of scammers.. cancel student loans and do it automatically/immediately w/o demanding paper work

10 min – (what would that solidarity look like) – insecurity is stoking/inflaming/misdirecting.. ie: saying problem is immigrants et al.. we also need to speak to insecurities.. realize it’s widespread.. no robust safety net.. we can’t cede that territory to right wing.. need to speak to real fears.. and fighting for a world where we’re all taken care of.. turn insecurity into solidarity so we can change structures undermining self esteem and well being..
