seth on cat in video:

she acts
she connects
cat talking..
devy – big on building businesses..
khan academy meets y combinator
obviously super.. bravo..
but as to what you said about best ed is good family life.. i believe today we can go deeper..
ie: hlb via 2 convos that io dance.. as the day..[aka: not part\ial.. for (blank)’s sake…].. a nother way
because.. none of us are free if one of us is chained.. we now have the means for 7 bn to leap to a nother way to live.. seems it’s time for a leap

notes/quotes from second chance:
120
grieving won’t make us forget. it won’t stop us from feeling the pain after we grieve. but grieving does release something in us.. it turns mad into sad.
123
if you can get from mad to sad you’re more likely to choose forgiveness
143
the brain cannot be curious and angry at the same time (one of her friends)
153
someone once told me the defn of hell: on your last day on earth, the person you became will meet the person you could have become – anonymous
162
on aa – and – hit bottom first – mentality
ugh
164
people who aren’t behind bars can typically change most circumstances *(there are exceptions of course).. when they do’t it’s typically because they don’t want to change it
yeah.. like for a *majority of people today
begs we imagine a turtle.. and do this first.. for 7 bn people..
166
seth: not how do i get rid of fear (then wouldn’t try things that might not work).. how do i dance w fear.. fear is not the enemy.. paralysis is the enemy
167
the only problem w needing more experience is that it’s really similar to the excuse of needing more money.. most people i know wo get an mba get it because they’re scared of feeling inadequate w/o the degree.. they’re buying two years of time, at an extremely high price, so they can figure out their hustle..
not to mention the 12+ years before..
let’s do this a nother way.. sans prisons even
ie: hlb via 2 convos that io dance.. as the day..[aka: not part\ial.. for (blank)’s sake…]
i’m not anti ed and i really like to hire people w mbas.. but if there’s a mroe efficient way to get from a to be, why not just take that route
beyond efficient.. how about more humane.. so we don’t create criminaltiy in the first place..
174
seth taught my eits ‘reject the mythology that a business has to be innovative. instead, figure out how to be useful – how to solve someone’s problem and get paid for it’
what if we have that all wrong..? ie: work.. imagine if instead of seeking to solve other people’s problems for money.. we were all free to be/do our art.. the thing we can’t not do.. we have the means to facil that chaos.. today.. ie: as it could be
just start simple and do something
imagine if that was all of us.. everyday.. as the day
179
my dream is not to be happy and carefree. my dream is to make a difference..
196
who could we be as a country if we lived up to being the land of second chances that we are touted to be
who could we be as a world.. if everyone got a go.. everyday..
imagine that
196
(in defying the odds by michael).. w step to the line you helped me see both sides of these fences house people like me
