Our species is really Homo discens, or ‘learning man’. If we stop learning socially, we will go backwards. Social learning is essential for human civilization. https://t.co/7DsXlRaHKChttps://t.co/TTCUjltV0N (http://twitter.com/hjarche/status/1151081299878305796?s=17)

Social learning is essential for human civilization.

thinking – perhaps civilization/success/progress isn’t the point.. so too.. learning.. isn’t the point.. rather being (so playing closer to the point.. but still perhaps limiting/missing us.. by thinking there has to be a/any focus.. liking curiosity because it comes from within each one.. each day a new.. if we let it ie: tech as it could be)

so much on wikipedia page that makes me want life to not be about learning..

wikipedia small

Learning is the process of acquiring new, or modifying existing, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, or preferences. The ability to learn is possessed by humans, animals, and some machines; there is also evidence for some kind of learning in some plants. Some learning is immediate, induced by a single event (e.g. being burned by a hot stove), but much skill and knowledge accumulates from repeated experiences. The changes induced by learning often last a lifetime, and it is hard to distinguish learned material that seems to be “lost” from that which cannot be retrieved

We are living in an age of rising complexity, gig economy & fluctuating careers. Today, constant #learning is the best way to be prepared and to stay relevant.
Here are a few tips on how you can become, as we call it, future-proof: https://t.co/SENoDolg9O https://t.co/qXjeKr6cs8(http://twitter.com/e180/status/1151087833114742784?s=17)

learn constantly .. become future proof

kilpi: The new managerial task is to understand (1) the speed of the common movement of thought (2) what is being discussed, (3) the quality and “cool factor” of that conversation, and (4) how problems actually develop towards solutions and scalable learning.

Make learning a form of success and a deliverable in your organization.

thinking.. being prepared/future-proof/scalably-learned.. et al..  is not the point.. (evidenced.. to me anyway.. in all the ie’s being based on the assumption of money/co’s/et-al

rather antifragility

esko and supposed to’s.. of school/work .. et al
