ubi vs sabbatical
we need a different way to get to the root of problem
legit freedom will only happen if it’s all of us.. and in order to be all of us.. has to be sans any form of measuring, accounting, people telling other people what to do
ubi has all 3 .. so great band-aid/triage.. but not a means to a nother way for all of us to live/be/dance.. not a way to legit freedom
how we gather in a space is huge.. need to try spaces of permission where people have nothing to prove .. nothing to count or keep track of.. ie: ubi is still measuring things even if it claims the title ‘unconditional’.. it still keeps us bound to a system that uses money (aka: measure of things)
only way to see what legit free people are like is if they feel legit free.. ie: they don’t feel like they’ll be punished.. or lose.. lose out.. if this other way doesn’t work
only way we’ll get to try/see the unconditional part of left to own devices ness.. is by letting go of control
there’s a legit use of tech (nonjudgmental exponential labeling) to facil the seeming chaos of a global detox leap/dance.. the unconditional part of left-to-own-devices ness.. for (blank)’s sake.. and we’re missing it
ie: whatever for a year.. a legit sabbatical ish transition
