heard about Easton via TEDxMileHigh.. he’s from colorado..
the catchy thing from the tweet was.. they were quoting him saying..
My goal is to help people. And curiosity has gotten me here.
so cool .. Easton interviewed by Kosta with aljazeera.
and here.. speaking at bif9:
when i was 14, i had an idea, so i went to the internet
Easton continues to help Amputees at the grass-roots level – ie: the recent Amputee Long Drive Championship:
one of their four goals:
Showcase the latest brain-powered technology from Easton LaChappelle that will improve prosthetics for Wounded Warriors and other Amputees, enable MS sufferers to regain the use of their limbs, and allow paralyzed individuals to walk again.
this isn’t (doesn’t need to be ) rare.
imagine – facilitating authenticity…
finding all the geniuses inside.. waiting to be seen/heard/loved.
and imagine if we called – facilitating curiosity – school – in the city – as the day?
7 billion such researchers/entrepreneurs/happy people.. no?

I’m so happy to share the documentary that I’ve been working on with Microsoft for the last 8 months. Please watch all three episodes… The last one will change the way you look at technology.
Meet Easton: the young engineer making his mark in the world of robotic limbs
there’s this whole other human element.. which is.. what tech is actually helping
if i’m going to do what i like.. and i’m very lucky to know what i like.. i’m going to go out and do it on my own..
imagine 7 bn able to do that.. as the day.. via tech from a whole other human element..
my goal is not to have a lot of money in this.. it’s to get this tech to people who need it
