mist in garden of eden
via google:
In the Bible, the “mist” in the Garden of Eden refers to a vapor or moisture that rose from the earth, described in Genesis 2:6, which watered the entire ground, essentially acting as a source of life-giving water for the garden before rain was established; it’s a symbol of the perfect and abundant environment of Eden
The mist represents the ideal conditions of the Garden of Eden, a place of perfect harmony and abundance where life flourished without the need for rain as we know it
gen 2: 6-8:
but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
i think a big piece of our not grokking what legit free people are like (black science of people/whales law et al).. is that we can’t grok the mist in the garden of eden as garden-enough ness .. and so we don’t grok graeber stop at enough law et al.. and so we keep on perpetuating myth of tragedy and lord ness
‘in undisturbed ecosystem ..the avg individual.. left to its own devices.. behaves in ways that serve/stabilize the whole’ –dana meadows
we keep disturbing the ecosystem because we can’t seem to let go enough to see/try the unconditional part of left to own devices ness.. to get back/to the garden (mitchell garden law et al)
