theresa

intro’d to Theresa via Mark here.
A few years back Theresa ended up homeless after her mother died. She was in and out of shelters, but never got a chance to grieve until she found a home at Nickelsville, a tent community near downtown Seattle.
Theresa says that Nickelsville is like a breath of fresh air. Clearly, Nickelsville has become Theresa’s family.
Personally, I love tent communities. They often provide what homeless shelters miss, and I strongly believe homeless services can learn much from places like Nickelsville. – Mark Harvoth
