nicolas on ai

via nicolas berggruen tweet [https://twitter.com/NBerggruen/status/1679228732756856832?s=20]:

It won’t be long before an AI will become a member of a parliament or a government – this would be a resource, a test of the potential of AI, and a challenge to human wisdom.

if we used ai as a best resource for humanity.. as a means for what humanity needs most.. there would no longer be things like parliament et al.. so many cancerous distractions becoming (revealing themselves as) irrelevants.. and we’re missing it

and 1.5 yrs later.. another tweet [https://x.com/NBerggruen/status/1886881038116512212]:

We’ve now arrived at a critical juncture where we need to develop new concepts to live by in a more-than-human world. @tobias_rees for @NoemaMag [https://x.com/NoemaMag/status/1886845657698512902]:

“What makes AI such a profound philosophical event is that it defies many of the most fundamental, most taken-for-granted concepts that have defined the modern period & most humans still live by. It literally renders them insufficient.” — @tobias_rees

rather..

mufleh humanity law: ‘advances in every aspect except our humanity’ mufleh

what we need tech to do is to be w/o judgment.. in order to facil a global detox leap

ie: tech as nonjudgmental exponential labeling; ai as augmenting interconnectedness

ai as intellect is a cancerous distraction
