The GOAL

• To teach primary school government teachers interactive behavior and skills

• To increase primary school student scores in literacy and numeracy

?

The WHAT

• PoP staff visit schools and conduct in-class trainings by demonstrating effective teaching, providing feedback on observations, and co-teaching twice a month in Laos and 4 times per year in Guatemala

• PoP staff aid government teachers in:

  • Interactive teaching methods
  • Effective lesson planning
  • Classroom management
  • Material creation for literacy, numeracy, and English lessons (English is in Laos only)
• PoP staff lead teacher training workshops 2x/year
