Installation art is a departure from traditional museum and gallery openings. It can be performance-based where the artist creates the piece during the show. It is more of an experience and interactive. The artist could very well ask those attending to carry off part of the artwork. Those that pass by could be asked to rearrange the art such that it is ever changing. It is expansive and big, often with nothing for sale.
Tracy points out that the ideal venue has been Loveland Feed and Grain. Its large, dusty, rustic interior fits perfectly with the shows.
For those geek – ed-ers – it’s like cmooc art. : )
She’s changing the color of Loveland, waking people up to art. beautiful.
Most of her shows/experiences are at the feed and grain – owned by Barry.
