Founder of Nahoon Montessori School, a radical experiment in fusing Montessori and Democratic education principles, Sharon is a writer, speaker, consultant and mentor for Montessori schools internationally. She is an activist for the right to free choice in education in South Africa where she represents Montessori schools on behalf of the South African Montessori Association.

What matters to you?

Freedom. Every human being should have the right to make their own choices and education should be focussed on helping individuals develop autonomy and independence to enable them to make the choices that protect and enhance individual freedom.
