First World Education Problems
Nancy’s reflection based on the North Dakota Study Group/IDEA meeting in Detroit. My consulting group–Jonah Canner, Ofir Germanic, Sarah Bertucci, Eric DeMeulenaere–helped me think through the challenges of writing the piece, being fair to all parties, and raising the right questions. Their fingerprints (brainprints?) are all over these blogs. Thanks. Here’s a link to Pt I and Pt II (on our site visit to Catherine Ferguson) is also up. Pt III will be about democratic education in America, using Detroit as lens.
Andrews told us: I’ve been called a visionary, but I’m not. I just listened to pregnant girls talk about their hopes and their needs.
