After 18 years coaching high school and collegiate teams plus 21 years mentoring youth and young adults, Jerri Howe founded the Matthews House (2005) to serve at-risk youth in the community. Jerri is a certified Life Coach, an Accredited Family and Relationship Counselor, and an Ansell Casey Life Skills certified trainer for Adoptive and Foster Parents Transition to Adulthood. Previously she founded and ran for 13 years a USA Junior Olympic volleyball club including 14 teams, 21 coaches and 144 athletes. She is also active in the Healthier Communities Coalition, Pathways Past Poverty, Larimer County Life Board, Larimer County Workforce Center Youth Council, Community Mental Health/Substance Abuse Early Identification and Intervention Task Force, Concerned Larimer Leadership Team,Larimer County Youth Summit, and the Family Consumer Council.
