I have spent most of my adult life working with children directly, or for them through their parents and teachers. As a child, playing with dolls was a ‘serious’ full time activity that found expression in my career choices later on.
I still feel strongly that we need to ‘create’ environments in which children can be facilitated so that they will achieve all that they are capable of. Facilitated so that they will be happy in the lives they lead.
