Running Time: 85 minutes
r: this is about actually getting the world to work
j: we’re in transition now.. people feel that in their bones.. we need to figure out how to align the human econ w the principles and patterns that tend to operate in all living systems..
j: that’s the essence of it.. so the challenge is to kind of figure out how to change the engines on the plane while we’re keeping the plane in the air
3 min – g: what if we were able to really build the foundations of a cooperative world.. what would it look like
g: talking about changing the whole system.. that’s what this is about..
g: start small but also think big

17 min – j: what we see emerging is what we call a generative economy.. in simple terms.. our bodies have been and continue to regenerate.. so we’re sustainable because we’re regenerating.. and the whole uni works that way
we see it everywhere (by those) who have no theoretical framework in mind.. they inuit it.. that’s why i’m confident it’s an emergent property
18 min – london brewing co op.. 5 worker-owners
19 min – g: i think people want to be in on big decisions that matter.. structuring that can be tricky.. we have to learn that it doesn’t come naturally – co op is 1 person/vote structure.. not $1/vote.. so no need for president et al
22 min – we’re not taught to cooperate/trust.. just think of all the board games we play when we’re kids
when everyone has an equal voice.. it can be difficult to reach a consensus.. basically human interaction is hard esp when there’s not a hierarchy saying.. i’m the manager
doesn’t have to be..
22 min – cooperation to me means deciding on those goals together..
could work if goals are big/deep enough to resonate w all of us .. today.. otherwise.. back to the – this is hard – ness

not so man..
1:07 – beer coop – we need resources time money..
1:09 – j: this has nothing to do w socialism vs capitalism.. this is how real system in the real world work.. and that’s physics and biology and energy
everything is energy.. this is the way it works from a tornado to boiling water in a pot to insects to entire ecosystems.. to the human body/consciousness.. to the entire universe itself is a learning system..
has to be everyone or *that dance won’t dance
